With the popularity of Tom Wood's locally produced beers ever-increasing, the
existing distribution infrastructure quickly became inadequate . In 2002 a key local wholesaler was acquired to increase the product range and enhance the distribution
network in which to maintain further growth.

 

 

This year,despite depressed trading in the sector, Tom Wood has acquired a
further facility in Skegness to streamline operations in Norfolk and further enhance the distribution network as a whole. In order to ensure the same level of service is achieved across the client base, once again all new customers are serviced from Tom Wood's Grimsby facility.

As the business has become more complex and wide spread, 2009 has also seen
the appointment to the new post of Sales Support Manager. The Postholder will
co-ordinate the Logistical, Office and Field Sales Teams in order to provide a more cohesive service in areas of the business that had become fragmented through rapid growth.

 

With the experience of brewers, buyers, sales teams and other representatives
