Tom Wood started Highwood Brewery in March 1995 using a redundant grain store located on the family farm in Melton Ross. After much investment the Highwood business now trades beyond Lincolnshire and since 2007 into Norfolk. Continual growth has been driven by the Tom Wood Cask Ale franchise with over 15 million pints being sold through a dedication to customer service and local knowledge.
